USCCA Basic Handgun (Handgun 1)

This comprehensive course provides hands-on training and the basic knowledge necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and maintain most types of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Classroom and practical application time offer ample opportunity to achieve the skills for success in a casual, stress-free environment. This course requires no live-fire, focusing more on how to shoot correctly before firing a single round. Therefore, reducing errors and mishaps on the range during our live-fire courses. This is a hybrid course, you will be sent a powepoint presentation for your guided classroom instruction. Then your instructor will schedule you for 2 hours of range instruction.

Thirteen years of military experience with the United States Marine Corps working as an Infantry Rifleman, Combat Marksmanship Coach, Combat Marksmanship Trainer and Primary Marksmanship Instructor. 5 years overseas working on State Department contracts at the U.S. Embassies in Iraq and Afghanistan working as a Personal Security Specialist and Range Master Firearms Instructor. As Chief Instructor of Tip of the Spear Training Group, Denver has been training civilians in the fundamentals of shooting and concealed carry.
