Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
Course Overview: This course is designed to help the general public, educators, business owners, and security professionals recognize early warning signs of mass violence, understand the behavioral patterns of attackers, and explore real-world data about active shooter events in the U.S. Learners will be equipped with knowledge on how to identify threats before violence occurs, understand how public spaces are targeted, and evaluate what measures actually reduce risk.
Your Instructor
Thirteen years of military experience with the United States Marine Corps working as an Infantry Rifleman, Combat Marksmanship Coach, Combat Marksmanship Trainer and Primary Marksmanship Instructor. 5 years overseas working on State Department contracts at the U.S. Embassies in Iraq and Afghanistan working as a Personal Security Specialist and Range Master Firearms Instructor. As Chief Instructor of Tip of the Spear Training Group, Denver has been training civilians in the fundamentals of shooting and concealed carry.
